[00:20.64]for the popular game

[00:51.76]they did not find out until recently
[00:54.92]that one of its artists used AI
[00:58.48]to create artwork for an upcoming book.
[01:02.76]The company said in a statement
[01:05.44]it had talked to the artist involved.
[01:09.44]D&D Beyond said the artist
[01:12.96]– who had worked for the company
[01:14.92]for more than 10 years – had agreed
[01:17.88]to no longer use AI tools for artistic designs.
[01:23.40]The company said it is
[01:25.28]also examining its current AI rules.
[01:30.04]Some D&D fans

[02:00.32]of creature descriptions and lore
[02:04.12]called Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants.
[02:09.00]The digital and physical versions of the game

[02:21.96]has raised copyright and labor concerns
[02:26.04]across a number of industries.
[02:29.12]The issue is part of what is fueling
[02:32.56]the current Hollywood strike.

[02:38.92]the Recording Academy,
[02:41.00]to change the rules of its Grammy Awards process.
[02:46.28]Some artists have brought legal action
[02:49.68]against AI companies

[03:05.32]to help come up with ideas
[03:07.60]for a new Hot Wheels toy car.
[03:11.60]The news agency noted, however,
[03:14.64]that Mattel has not said exactly
