Parisian photographer Stephane Domingues travels the world, capturing the essence of what it is to be thirty.

His fascinating project Being 30 aims to define what it is to reach the milestone all over the globe, from Europe and South America to the Omo Valley in Ethiopia.

他希望用这个作品来展示对世界各地的人们来说，30岁意味着什么，从欧洲和南美洲，到埃塞俄比亚的奥莫山谷。







Looking into the similarities among global thirty-year-olds, Domingues explores how nationality, culture, living environment can effect a person's identity.

通过观察世界各地30岁人们的相似之处，Domingues探寻国籍、文化、生活环境如何影响一个人的个性。

He tells Mail Online Travel: "I think that I can say that I experienced - and still am experiencing - a 30-year-old crisis because I started to question a lot of things that were happening in my life and the life of my friends. Seeing all these weddings and babies around me... it is the beginning of a new kind of life."

他说："我觉得自己已经体验过，现在还在体验30岁危机，因为我开始对自己和朋友们生活中的许多事产生疑问。身边的人都结婚生子……这是另一种生活的开始。"







"I think that I realized how much time is valuable, and that no one can give us this time back... so I decided to get the most of it... which led me to amazing experiences like this project."

Capturing beautiful images and sharing the daily life of thirty-year-olds he meets on his travels, the project looks at their values, interests, political beliefs as well as talking about the major events in their lives, and their hopes for the future.

他在旅行的过程中拍摄下这些30岁人的美丽照片，分享他们的日常生活，这套作品关注他们的价值观、兴趣爱好和政治倾向，以及生命中的重大事件和对未来的希望。

"For a lot of people,turning 30 did not change something in itself. It is more the experience that was accumulated throughout the years and the responsibilities and wisdom that came with experiences."

"The thirties are the years during which you give a direction to your life and people tend to get married and have children later and later."
