9月28日晚，“湾区升明月”2025大湾区电影音乐晚会在中国澳门唱响。台湾歌手王力宏搭档大陆歌手单依纯合唱歌曲《落叶归根》，深情追忆知名历史学家许倬云。

The Greater Bay Area Film Concert 2025 was staged in Macao on Sunday evening, bringing together artists from across the region. A highlight of the night was a heartfelt duet of Fallen Leaves Return to Roots by Taiwan singer Wang Leehom and mainland vocalist Shan Yichun, dedicated to the late historian Hsu Cho-yun, a professor emeritus of history and sociology at the University of Pittsburgh.

据了解，许倬云是王力宏的七舅公，生于1930年，幼年迁台，晚年多次表达“但悲不见九州同”的遗恨。

王力宏还透露过，许倬云曾将高达约1200万元的奖金全部捐出，设立了“许孙奖学金”，用来支持全球从事汉学博士研究的年轻学者。许倬云曾对王力宏说：“穿盘扣的孩子，走到哪都不会迷路”，这句话成为《落叶归根》中“家唯独在你身边”的精神注脚。

今年8月4日，许倬云在美国匹兹堡去世，享年95岁。8月5日上午，王力宏发文悼念七舅公称，许倬云自幼体弱多病、先天残疾，但精神世界极其丰富，智慧更是无人能及。虽然身体羸弱，他却靠知识为自己筑起一道盔甲。他自学认字，读起书来如饥似渴。他相信，如果身体无法强壮，那就要让思想变得坚不可摧——精神的力量，可以超越肉体的限制。也正是这种信念，让他成为我们心中真正的巨人。

Hsu, regarded as one of the most influential Chinese historians of his era, was Wang's great-uncle. Born in 1930 in Xiamen, Fujian province, Hsu spent his childhood in areas along the Yangtze River before leaving the Chinese mainland for Taiwan with his family in 1948.

Despite frail health, Hsu forged what Wang described as an "intellectual armor" through books and ideas. He often reminded Wang that "a child in a mandarin-collared jacket will never lose his way," a sentiment reflected in Fallen Leaves Return to Roots. Known for his philanthropy, Hsu donated more than 12 million yuan to establish the Hsu-Sun Scholarship, which supports young scholars of Chinese studies worldwide. After his passing, Wang remembered him as "a true giant" whose spirit transcended physical limits.



在访谈中，许倬云曾被问及“回顾过往最大的遗憾是什么”，他答道，“但悲不见九州同。”一句话道出了自身毕生未竟的宏愿。

In past interviews, when asked about his greatest unfulfilled wish, Hsu quoted Song Dynasty (960-1279) poet Lu You: "But what grieves me is not to have seen our land united." The remark reflected his lifelong hope for cross-Strait unity.

嘉义大学应用历史学系教授吴昆财在接受南都记者采访时表示，“虽然许倬云先生已远逝，但我辈必然努力接续他未完成的志愿，传承中华文化与历史，为人类的大未来，提供另一种选择的路径。”

"Although Professor Hsu has passed on, it is our duty to carry forward his unfinished mission — to preserve Chinese culture and history, and to provide humanity with an alternative path for the future," said Wu Kun-tsai, a professor of history at Chiayi University in Taiwan.

许倬云毕业于中国台湾大学、美国芝加哥大学，1970年移民至美国，后为美国匹兹堡大学历史学系荣休讲座教授。他曾先后执教于中国台湾、中国香港和美国的多所大学，善于运用社会科学的理论和方法治史，研究领域主要在中国文化史、社会经济史和中国上古史，其代表著作包括《中国古代社会史论》《汉代农业》《西周史》《万古江河》等。
