记者当地时间11月23日获悉，由美国总统特朗普上任首日设立、由美国企业家马斯克与拉马斯瓦米领导的“政府效率部（DOGE）”已在距离合约结束仍剩八个月时被悄然解散。

US President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency has disbanded with eight months left to its mandate, ending an initiative launched with fanfare as a symbol of Trump's pledge to slash the government's size but which critics say delivered few measurable savings.

美国人事管理局局长证实其已“不再存在”，其多项职能已被人事管理局接管。

"That doesn't exist," Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor told Reuters earlier this month when asked about DOGE's status.

The OPM, the federal government's human resources office, has taken over many of DOGE's functions, according to Kupor and documents reviewed by Reuters.

据悉，此前“政府效率部”大规模裁撤联邦雇员并削减机构预算，但缺乏公开问责。其人员夏季已陆续撤离总部，进一步加深外界对其被提前终止的判断。



“政府效率部”做了些什么？

美国总统特朗普1月20日宣誓就职当天签署行政令，组建名为“政府效率部（DOGE）”的顾问委员会，由特斯拉首席执行官埃隆·马斯克牵头，旨在削减政府开支。

The agency, set up in January and led by Trump's close ally Elon Musk, made dramatic forays across Washington in the early months of Trump's second term to rapidly shrink federal agencies, cut their budgets or redirect their work to Trump priorities.

据“政府效率部”网站的数据显示，截至4月20日政府效率部已为联邦政府节省约1600亿美元，但这仅完成了马斯克此前宣布的削减10000亿美元联邦开支目标的不足五分之一。尽管采取大规模裁员、机构关停、合同削减及公共服务缩水等措施，美国本届政府任职以来的开支与去年同期相比不降反增。

By May, more than 200,000 federal workers had been laid off and roughly 75,000 had accepted buyouts. The organization said these cuts saved tens of billions of dollars in expenditure, but it was impossible for experts to authenticate these claims because of the lack of public accounting.

Musk repeatedly claimed the agency would reduce the deficit by $1 to $2 trillion within its first year. But even according to the agency's own calculations published on its website, it fell short of that goal.

Musk made his exit late in May after publicly splitting with Trump over the "Big, Beautiful Bill", which he criticized for adding to the federal deficit.
