I'm coming from east Africa. For me Quanzhou is really today an example how peace, how heritage, and how human dialogue is very, very important. What they are doing now this is exactly what you should continue. We should continue to enhance dialogue.

It is far more than a museum. It's a dynamic place. Communities and people are benefiting from it. So I think it's sustainable utilization of the world heritage here in China, and they should show others how they're doing it. It's not just about the past. In fact, for me, heritage is about the present.
