A Palestinian doctor, who was forced to identify the body of his son at the hospital where he was working in Gaza, has returned home after 20 months in Israeli detention.

Dr Mohammed Abu Moussa was first filmed in October 2023, on the worst day of his life.

It was the day his injured daughter and distraught wife were brought to the hospital where he worked, after their home was hit by an Israeli airstrike.

On his return to Gaza this week, Mohammed told ITV News that, a few months after his son's death, he was stopped at an Israeli checkpoint by soldiers looking for hostages.
