Lucy： Mum, there isn't any sugar in the house. 露西：妈妈，家里没有糖了。

Karen： I know. I must go to the supermarket. Let's make a shopping list. 卡伦：我知道。我必须去超市。我们列个购物清单吧。

Lucy： OK. How much sugar do we need? 露西：好吧。我们需要多少糖？

Karen： Two bags. 卡伦：两袋。

Lucy： Two bags of sugar ... 露西：两袋糖……

Lucy： We need some tea, too, Mum. There isn't much tea in the tin. 露西：妈妈，我们还需要茶叶。盒子里没有多少茶叶了。

Karen： Let's get four packets. 卡伦：我们买四包吧。

Lucy： Four packets of tea ... 露西：四包茶叶……

Lucy： What about food for the weekend, Mum? 露西：周末的食物呢，妈妈？

Karen： We need a loaf of bread, some meat for Sunday lunch, and some vegetables, too. What vegetables do we want, Lucy? 卡伦：我们需要一些面包，一些周日午饭要用的肉，还有蔬菜。我们需要什么蔬菜呢，露西？

Lucy： One loaf of bread, a piece of meat, some vegetables ... Mum, these things are all really boring. 露西：一条面包、一块肉、一些蔬菜……妈妈，这些东西都让人觉得厌烦。

Lucy： What about some nice things for the weekend? 露西：周末买点儿好东西怎么样？

Karen： What kind of things? 卡伦：什么东西？

Lucy： Well, chocolate, and ice cream, perhaps ... 露西：呃，巧克力，或许还有冰激淋……

Karen： You're right. Let's get a box of chocolates, some ice cream for you and the boys, and a bottle of wine for me and your father! 卡伦：你说的对。我们就给你和男孩子们买一盒巧克力和一些冰激淋，给我和你爸爸买一瓶葡萄酒。
