近日，有网友在社交平台发贴称，在南京博物院发现了"女士专用卫生间"，并成功在3分钟内上到了厕所。该网友表示，这是第一次在国内博物馆高峰期时见到女士专用卫生间，对南京博物院的人性化设置表示赞赏。

据红星新闻8月8日消息，记者致电南京博物院，接线人员回应称，由于暑期女性客流量大，洗手间需求量大，所以南京博物院才决定，将历史馆通往特展馆的一处男士洗手间，暂时改为女性洗手间。该人员表示，有了两个女士卫生间，能很好地缓解女厕所排队时间长的问题。

A recent social media post about a ladies-only restroom at the Nanjing Museum has sparked praise online, after a visitor reported being able to use it within just three minutes during peak hours. Museum staff confirmed on Thursday that the temporary change — converting a men's restroom near the History Hall into a women's facility — was introduced to cope with a sharp increase in female visitors over the summer holiday season.

这样的改动是否会为男性上厕所带来不便？该工作人员解释，博物院内每一层特展馆内都还设有男性卫生间，方便男游客使用。该工作人员也指出，目前也从未接到任何有关男士对此不满的电话投诉。

这名工作人员补充，目前只是暂时将原男士洗手间改为女士专用，但男厕内的设施并未更改，馆内也还未明确改变时长。

Museum staff stressed that the adjustment would not inconvenience male visitors, as men's restrooms remain available on every floor of the exhibition halls. No complaints have been received so far. The converted restroom still retains its original facilities, and no timeline has been set for how long the change will remain in place.

实际上，“增加女厕数量，缓解女厕排队时长”的问题早已被社会所关注。

2025年的全国两会期间，全国人大代表王爽就提出了“增加景区女厕坑位”的议案。议案中提到，根据调查，在旅游高峰期女性游客平均等待如厕时间超过20分钟，而男厕使用率仅为女厕的1/3。议案中也明确提出：“女厕排队问题”是文旅行业发展中不可避免的痛点问题。最有效的解决方式，是除了增加女性卫生间坑位之外，还可增加功能分区。

此外，2022年开始实施的《旅游厕所质量要求与评定》（GB/T 18973—2022）就规定：鼓励提高女性厕位数量，男女厕位比应达到1:1.5，在客流量巨大的区域，男女厕位应达到1:2。同年，妇女权益保障法明确要求，公共设施需考虑女性特殊需求。

The issue of long waits for women's restrooms has long been on the public agenda. During this year's National People's Congress, delegate Wang Shuang called for increasing the number of women's stalls in scenic areas, citing surveys showing that female tourists often wait more than 20 minutes to use the restroom during peak seasons, while men's facilities are used at only one-third of that rate. China's national tourism restroom standards, updated in 2022, encourage a ratio of 1:1.5 in favor of women — and up to 1:2 in high-traffic areas — while the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests requires public facilities to take women's needs into account.
