近日，一则“游客孩子生重病，动物园‘掏空’许愿池相助”的消息引发不少网友关注。

A touching story about the Nantong Forest Safari Park emptying its wishing pool to help a sick child has gone viral, warming hearts across social media.

7月16日，江苏南通森林野生动物园在社交平台表示：承蒙关注，许一池星光，暖一方人间。

据报道，7月9日上午，南通森林野生动物园接到动物园年卡用户黄女士电话。黄女士哽咽表示年仅2岁多的女儿小然（化名），正躺在医院病床上与病魔进行抗争。由于医疗费用高昂，家庭负担较重，家长拨通了动物园的电话希望能退还年卡费用以缓解燃眉之急。

According to reports, on July 9, Nantong Forest Safari Park received a call from a mother and an annual pass holder of the zoo, surnamed Huang. Her voice choked with emotion, Huang explained that her two-year-old daughter, Xiaoran (a pseudonym), was lying in a hospital bed, battling a serious illness. Due to the high medical costs and the family's financial strain, she called the zoo hoping to get a refund for the annual pass to ease their urgent financial burden.

黄女士表示当前急需筹措医疗费用，她尝试联系动物园管理方，希望能协商退还年卡费用以弥补部分治疗开支。

“孩子每次去动物园都特别开心，没想到突然就病倒了…… 现在每一分钱都要用在治疗上。” 黄女士无助地说。

"Every zoo visit brought her such joy... Now every penny must go to her treatment," said the distressed mother.

今年4月，黄女士为女儿小然办理了南通森林野生动物园年卡，短短两个月内已带孩子入园5次。然而，就在6月中旬，小女孩被确诊患上恶性横纹肌肉瘤。突如其来的病情让家庭陷入困境，住院治疗所需的高额医疗费成为压在父母肩头的重担。



接到孩子妈妈的电话后，南通森林野生动物园决定为其办理年卡退款手续，还做出了一个特殊的决定：保留年卡权益，并诚挚邀请待小然康复后一家人再来园内游玩。

除此之外，园方还捐赠了5万元现金和上万枚许愿池硬币，清点后12083元。

The zoo not only refunded the pass while preserving its privileges for Xiaoran's future visits but also donated 50,000 yuan and 12,083 yuan from their wish pool.




小女孩的病情令人揪心，动物园的做法也感动了无数网友。




不少人表示，希望小女孩早日康复：“这才是许愿池的意义，人间有真爱！”
