7月15日晚，湖南湘江新区公安局发布警情通报：7月15日上午11时28分，公安局110接到报警称，湖南丰旭线缆有限公司发生一起警情，民警立即赶赴现场处置。



An altercation occurred at a company on Tuesday in Xiangjiang New Area district, Hunan province, resulting in the criminal detention of the company's legal representative.

The local public security bureau later issued a police statement on the same day, saying that authorities received a call at 11:28 am reporting an incident at the company.

经调查，7月15日上午11时15分许，谢某某（男，42岁，湖南丰旭线缆有限公司法定代表人）与前往该公司采访的记者发生争执。期间，谢某某将记者眼镜、拍摄设备等物品摔毁。

Upon arrival, officers found that the man, surnamed Xie and the legal representative of Hunan Fengxu Cable Co, had been involved in a dispute with journalists who had arrived for an interview.

The police investigation revealed that at approximately 11:15 am, Xie became engaged in a heated argument with the reporters, during which he allegedly destroyed their eyewear and filming equipment.

目前，谢某某因涉嫌故意毁坏财物罪被公安机关依法刑事拘留，案件正在进一步侦办中。

Xie has since been detained on suspicion of intentional destruction of property, and the case is under further investigation.



此前，“中国记协”针对此事发表声明称：采访是记者的权利。正当舆论监督受法律保护。

The All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) issued a statement on Tuesday, saying that conducting interviews is a fundamental right of journalists and that lawful press supervision is protected under the law.
