Maxwell got his knapsack.

Marybeth got her flashlight.

Maxwell and Marybeth hiked to the campsite.

They hiked barefoot.

"I want to make popcorn." said Maxwell.

They ate popcorn.

"I want to make pancakes." said Marybeth.

They ate pancakes.

"Look, a rainbow in the sky!" said Maxwell.

“快看，天上有一个彩虹！”麦斯威尔说。



"Look, a butterfly!" said Marybeth.

Maxwell saw a butterfly and a ladybug.

“快看，一只蝴蝶！”玛丽贝思说。

麦斯威尔看到了一只蝴蝶和一只七星瓢虫。



They picked blueberries.

They picked blueberries and then saw the sunset.

他们一起摘蓝莓。

他们摘完蓝莓，然后一起看落日。



As nightfall came, Maxwell said, "I am homesick for my goldfish."

"I am homesick for my bedroom." said Marybeth.

They left the campsite in the backyard and hiked up the driveway!
