日前，微信派发布消息，微信迎来了重大更新——优化聊天记录备份。

WeChat has unveiled a significant upgrade to its chat history backup system, introducing new functionalities that improve convenience, flexibility, and data security for users.

“外援”进场

现在，手机微信能将聊天记录备份到U盘、移动硬盘等外部存储设备。当家庭用户共用一个硬盘或电脑进行聊天记录备份，也不会互相干扰、泄露隐私。

The update now allows users to back up WeChat chat history directly to external storage devices, including USB drives and portable hard drives. Even in shared-device scenarios—such as family members using the same storage for backups—data remains isolated, ensuring privacy and preventing interference.

自动备份

手动档切自动挡，很省心。

当系统识别到手机已连接到开启“自动备份”时选择的电脑/外部设备时，将会进行自动备份。

The new Auto Backup feature eliminates the need for manual backups. Once configured, WeChat will automatically initiate backups whenever the phone connects to the designated computer or external storage device.



灵活备份

备份范围、备份时间，随你心意。

可灵活按需选择备份“全部聊天”“除了折叠的群的全部聊天”，也可根据标签或手动选择指定聊天进行备份；还可根据指定时间进行备份。



聊天记录迁移

除此之外，用户更换新机后无需在旧手机登录微信，新手机扫扫码就能一键导出聊天记录到新机。支持直接从另一台手机或其他设备导入，也可导出到电脑、另一台手机或平板。

Switching to a new device is now simpler—users no longer need to log in to WeChat on their old phone. Instead, scanning a QR code on the new device instantly transfers chat history.
