A fight broke out at London’s Stratford Westfield shopping center as customers scrambled to buy the toy amid surging demand.
Footage showed several men involved in a fistfight, with security staff and other customers trying to intervene. As safety concerns mounted, POP MART suspended LABUBU sales in the UK and said it would withdraw the product from all British stores by the end of June.
POP MART's designer toys have gained massive popularity among young people in recent years. However, the issue of scalpers bulk-buying its blind boxes and reselling them at inflated prices has drawn widespread criticism.

If scalpers resort to violence — such as pushing, fighting, or assaulting others — they could face administrative detention or fines. In more serious cases, they may be held criminally liable for offenses such as intentional injury or picking quarrels and provoking trouble.
