The US State Department on Friday night told consulates around the world to resume processing visa applications for students planning to attend Harvard University, reversing guidance sent a day earlier that directed such requests to be rejected.

据报道，美国国务院6日19时55分发出的电报称，“现在，领事部门必须恢复处理哈佛大学的学生和交流访问者签证。”

Now, "consular sections must resume processing of Harvard University student and exchange visitor visas," the cable, sent Friday at 7:55 pm, states.
