A representative for Justin Bieber has issued a statement denying that he was a victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs.

As they explained it, moments like when Combs told a camera that he and a 15-year-old Bieber were "gonna go buck full crazy" for "48 hours" in 2009 — or when he said on Jimmy Kimmel's show in 2011 that Bieber "knows better than to be talking about things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television" — were nothing more than "performative" media appearances.
