1、出席，参加、到场

例：

Over two hundred people attended the funeral.

两百多人参加了葬礼。

The meeting is on the fifth and we're hoping everyone will attend.

会议将在5号举行，我们希望大家都能出席。

2、经常去，定期去

例：

Which school do your children attend？

你们家孩子就读哪所学校？

I attended the classes/seminars/lectures for a month or two.

这些课程／讲习班／讲座我去听了一两个月。

More examples

Are you confident that enough people will attend the event?

你是不是有自信有足够的人来参加这个活动？

3、注意、倾听

例：

5、attend to sb/sth 处理；照料，关心

例：

Doctors tried to attend to the worst injured soldiers first.

医生们首先努力救治受伤最严重的士兵。

I always have so many things to attend to when I come into the office after a trip abroad.
