Japanese tourism and retail-related stocks slumped on Monday as China warned citizens against traveling to and studying in Japan amid diplomatic tensions, following Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's provocative remarks on the Taiwan question.

据美国消费者新闻与商业频道（CNBC）报道，高度依赖中国消费者支出的日本美妆巨头资生堂股价下跌11%，三越和伊势丹百货的母公司“三越伊势丹控股”股价下跌约12%。

The stock price of cosmetics firm Shiseido plunged as much as 11.4 percent on Monday, while Kose Corp's plunge once hit 3 percent.

Shares in Japanese department stores were hit hard, with the parent company of the Mitsukoshi and Isetan chains plunging by almost 12 percent.

此外，东京迪士尼度假区的运营商东方乐园公司股价下滑5.8%，日本航空、全日本航空走弱。

Carriers Japan Airlines and ANA Holdings were also down.

Shares in Oriental Land, the theme park company that runs the Tokyo Disney resort, ended the day 5.8 percent lower.

据彭博社报道，日本观光厅数据显示，今年第三季度，中国大陆游客成为所有访问日本的国际游客中消费额最高的群体，占入境消费总额的27%左右。

In the latest quarter ended September, tourists from the Chinese mainland were the top spenders among all foreign visitors, accounting for around 27 percent in total inbound consumption, according to the Japan Tourism Agency, Bloomberg reported.

11月14日，中国外交部发布出行提醒称，近日，日本领导人公然发表涉台露骨挑衅言论，严重恶化中日人员交流氛围，给在日中国公民人身和生命安全带来重大风险。外交部和中国驻日本使领馆郑重提醒中国公民近期避免前往日本。

Chinese Foreign Ministry and Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Japan issued a travel reminder on Friday, advising Chinese nationals to refrain from traveling to Japan in the near future, given the multiple criminal offenses and incidents of attacks against Chinese nationals in Japan this year, coupled with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's erroneous remarks concerning the Taiwan Strait that have severely undermined the atmosphere for China-Japan personnel exchanges.

11月16日，中国文化和旅游部发布赴日旅游提示，建议中国游客近期避免前往日本旅游。同日，中国教育部发布留学预警，建议中国公民谨慎规划赴日留学安排。日媒分析认为，由于来自中国的访日游客数量众多，日本旅游业恐遭受重大影响。

And on Sunday, China's Ministry of Education issued study abroad warning, reminding Chinese nationals to carefully plan study arrangements to Japan.

On the same day, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism also issued a travel notice for Chinese tourists.
