Lesson 5 No wrong numbers

Mr.James Scott has a garage in Silbury and now he has just bought another garage in Pinhurst.

Pinhurst is only five miles from Silbury, but Mr. Scott cannot get a telephone for his new garage, so he has just bought twelve pigeons.

尾音s到哪里去了↑

Yesterday, a pigeon carried the first message from Pinhurst to Silbury.

The bird covered the distance in three minutes.

Up to now, Mr.Scott has sent a great many（['meni]） requests(注意练习sts的尾音) for spare parts and other urgent messages from one garage to the other.

In this way, he has begun his own private 'telephone' service.（[əun]，注意区分[əu]和[au]）

不管英音美音，要保持一致

有的你加了卷舌儿音，有的又没有，

所以需要一点点的注意改过来了

蓝色字体就是你发音不同于其他发音的地方

比如Pinhurst第一句的句末，你就没卷舌，但是第二句句首，你又卷舌了

不是大错误，但是习惯从点滴积累

这一遍非常好！

就只是begun这个词仔细把握下，

其他的都无可挑剔

反正我这个不大会英音的人觉得已经很好了

找个英音好的继续给你辅导吧
