4月25日，深圳市光明区联合调查组发布情况通报，经警方调解，双方最终达成和解。同时，深圳市交通运输局光明分局依法对陈某在禁止吸烟场所吸烟的行为处以行政罚款。

On Saturday, a joint investigation team in Guangming district said the two sides reached a settlement following police mediation. Separately, the Guangming branch of the Shenzhen transportation bureau imposed an administrative fine on the man, identified as Chen, for smoking in a non-smoking area.



据《深圳特区报》记者4月25日调查，警方将两人带到玉塘派出所后按照执法程序进行了人身安全检查。关于民警曾表示“公交站应不属于禁烟范围”，在当事人提出质疑、民警查询相关法规后发现错误，已当场纠正并致歉。

According to an investigation published by Shenzhen Special Zone Daily on Saturday, police took both individuals to Yutang police station for routine procedures. Regarding earlier claims that an officer had said bus stops "may not be covered by the smoking ban," the report said the officer later reviewed the relevant regulations, acknowledged the mistake and issued an immediate apology after being questioned by the woman, identified as Wang.
