The big-wave rider Mark Visser from Australia, 28, has now taken the surfing into new territory after he took on 30ft monster waves off Maui of Hawaii in pitch darkness. To capture the historic event, Mark wore specially designed LED lights built into a buoyancy vest and modified into the surfboard so that he could be tracked by film crews on the shore.
