Oh Prison Break, how I've missed you.You didn't think that you could just have my favorite fugitive break out of yet another prison, reveal that his one true love is actually alive, and add a host of awesome new characters to the show and not have me salivating over the season premiere, now did you?Lucky for me (and fans everywhere) that the wait is soon to be over.Prison Break returns on Monday, Labor Day, with a special 2 hour season premiere.Last year, FOX released the first 15 minutes of the season 3 premiere but wouldn't even give us that much for season 4.Instead, they released 4 short clips from episode 4.1, "Scylla", but believe me, they tell enough of the story to keep fans happy for just a few more days.

** WARNING!EPISODE SPOILERS AHEAD! **

“My name is Michael Scofield. I’m a fugitive,” the season premiere begins with Wentworth Miller’s voice, writing a letter to an unknown recipient. “Three weeks ago, I was incarcerated at a Panamanian prison. While I was there, I was approached by The Company, a corrupt organization involved in all levels of industry and government. They gave me two options. Break one of their men, James Whistler, out of that prison or they would kill the only woman I ever loved, Dr. Sara Tancredi. I held up my end and broke Whistler out. The Company, they killed Sara anyway. I don’t know why The Company wanted James Whistler out of the prison but I’ve tracked him here, to Los Angeles. He’s with an agent I know only as Gretchen, the same agent who murdered Sara. It ends today.”

It doesn’t take long for Michael to catch up with James and Gretchen, as he promised to do in his letter. He holds both at gunpoint and admits that Sara would not have wanted him to kill anybody. As Gretchen asks James if he told Michael (presumably the truth about Sara), Michael puts a gun to her head and says, “This is for Sara.” As promised by the people at Prison Break, Michael finds out fairly early that Sara is in fact alive and well. He puts in a call to Bruce Bennett to ask where he can find her but just as the two are about to set up a meeting, Michael is stopped by the police, who tell him to put his hands on his head.

Is it me or are Lincoln and Sofia getting close? It could just be an act, the two pretending to be a pair down in Panama, but it looked like they actually cared about each other. While shopping in a downtown market with LJ, Lincoln thinks he spies someone watching them. His gut instinct is to get out of there so he grabs them and starts moving. As they get to an alley, Sofia tries to tell him that it’s just his imagination but the man is standing right behind them waiting to speak to them.

Robert Knepper does not seem like a man you want to mess with.Not at all.As the veteran actor who plays the fan favorite T-Bag on Prison Break, Knepper has created a fully formed and unique television villain.Everything he says, every move he makes is worth watching on the screen.Knowing I would have to interview the man, along with the stunning Jodi Lynn O'Keefe, you could say I was a teensy bit intimidated.Robert Knepper...I had no idea what I was going to get.Would he be like T-Bag at all?Well, you can find out by taking a look below, where we have embedded the full video interview with Knepper and Jodi Lynn O'Keefe as they talk about Prison Break's upcoming fourth season

The interview took place early this month at the FOX Fall press junket, and it might have been the most enjoyable interview I did while I was down in Los Angeles.The two actors were incredibly friendly and, as you can see in the video, open.They spoke their mind, and the interview took a very conversational course.Robert Knepper is something of a deep thinker, one of those slightly askew actors who talks and thinks like a Zen master.

I particularly liked the parts of the interview when the two talk about being on location as opposed to filming in Los Angeles, and how that affects a cast.Also, I found their discussion about fretting over what their next job would be or whether their characters would be killed off to be very atypical of actors, who tend not to open up about any kind of insecurities.

The biggest Prison Break specific nugget from the interview was, of course, the fact that the two will be teaming up to form a villainous duo on Prison Break this season.Fan are in for a treat.



Prison Break premieres its fourth season with a special two-hour premiere this Monday, September 1, starting at 8pm.
