The 2025 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), held in Hong Kong on Nov 28 and 29, issued an apology after its online survey erroneously listed Hong Kong and Taiwan as "nationality" options, sparking immediate criticism.

问卷内容出现错误是因该问卷未经过MAMA事前审核。对此，负责该问卷的机构已致歉并立即回收该问卷。MAMA AWARDS对此事深表遗憾，并予以郑重致歉。



On Saturday, MAMA posted an official apology on Weibo, stating that the survey had not been pre-approved by the awards organization. The agency responsible for the survey has since apologized and immediately removed the survey, "with full respect for one-China principle".

"We will continue to reinforce our labeling standards and internal review procedures to prevent this from happening again in the future," the agency said.

MAMA Awards expressed deep regret over the incident and offered a sincere apology.

据悉，2025Mnet亚洲音乐颁奖礼（MAMA）于11月28日及29日在中国香港启德体育园举行。

11月27日，亚洲音乐盛典官方微博@MnetMAMA 发布消息，决定继续举行音乐活动及现场直播，但取消红毯环节。

The ceremonies took place over two days at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Sports Park. Prior to the events, the official Weibo account of MAMA announced that while the main awards show and live broadcast would proceed as scheduled, the red carpet segment had been canceled.

韩国MAMA奖，亦称Mnet亚洲音乐大奖（Mnet Asian Music Awards），是韩国最具代表性、最权威的音乐颁奖典礼之一，自2010年起陆续在中国澳门、越南、日本等地举办。

The MAMA Awards is one of South Korea's most influential music award ceremonies. Since 2010, the event has been held in various international locations, including Macao, China; Vietnam; and Japan.
