RICHARD：Not too bad.

I think I passed in English and Mathematics.

The questions were very easy.

GARY：The English and Maths papers weren't easy enough for me.

RICHARD：I think I failed the French paper.

I could answer sixteen of the questions.

They were very easy.

too与enough的用法

1、enough的用法

一般的程度副词都应放在形容词或副词的前面，但是enough必须放在形容词或副词的后面。

① 在形容词之后使用

He failed the exam because it wasn’t easy enough.

他考试不及格，因为题不够容易。

She is beautiful enough to be a hostess.

I can drive quickly enough.

② 在名词之前使用

He didn’t buy the car because he didn’t have enough money.

他没买那部车，因为他没有足够的钱。

③ 可以用在enough…for sb./ sth.和enough…to do sth.结构之中

She hasn’t got enough money for a holiday.

She’s not old enough to live alone.

The wall is low enough for them to climb over.

这堵墙矮到如此之程度，以至于他们可以攀越过去。

2、too的用法

① 表示“过于”

She couldn’t answer the questions because they were too difficult for her.

② 可以用在too…for sb./sth.结构之中

This skirt is too big for me.

③ 可以用在too…to do sth.（太……而不能）结构之中

It’s too far to walk home from here.

The wall is too high for them to climb over.

这堵墙太高了，他们无法攀越过去。
