US President Donald Trump was nominated for asecond term on Monday at the 2020 RepublicanNational Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

8月24日，美国总统特朗普在北卡罗来纳州夏洛特市举行的共和党全国代表大会上正式被提名为2020年共和党总统候选人。

In rally-style remarks, the president toutedachievements from his first term, focused on hisadministration's response to the pandemic, andagain attacked mail-in voting.

特朗普在大会上发表了竞选集会式的讲话，他首先夸耀自己在第一个任期内所取得的执政成绩，特别是其政府对疫情做出的反应，并再次对邮寄选票大加批评。



He also touched on a series of policy priorities for the next four years if he is re-elected,including creating jobs, cutting taxes, lowering drug prices, and continuing the militarybuildup.

The president is set to deliver his nomination acceptance speech from the South Lawn of theWhite House on Thursday evening.
