有同学问meet和come cross有啥区别？

今天我们就来看看“遇见”都有哪些表达，他们之间又有怎样不同的具体用法。

（1）meet

meet是最常见的表示“遇见”的单词，用法也比较多，有6种用法：

遇见，They met in the hospital. 他们在医院遇到的。

遭遇，I met many difficulties in London. 我在伦敦遇到许多困难。

初次结识，We met some girls at my uncle's birthday party. 我们在我舅舅的聚会上认识了一些女孩。

系住，My trousers can't meet round my middle. 我的裤腰扣不上了。

集合，The whole family met to watch the French Open final. 全家人集合看法网决赛。

迎接，I met her off the plane. 我接她下飞机。

（2）meet with

遇到坏事，She met with a car accident. 她遇到了车祸。

（3）meet up with

旅行中或较长时间里遇见，Jim met up with his wife on his trip to China. Jim在去中国的旅途中遇到了他的妻子。

（4）come across

突然发现（对方可以不知情），Julia came across Jim in the hospital. 茱莉亚在医院遇到了Jim（但是没和Jim打招呼）.

（5）bump into

碰巧遇到（对方也知情），Julia bump into Jim in the hospital. 茱莉亚在医院遇到了Jim（也和Jim打了招呼）.
