porridge主要是指“麦片粥”。congee主要是指“米粥”，是Chinese rice congee/Cntonese congee的缩写。按西方人的习惯，这两种都是porrige. 而congee是英语中的外来语，源自印度泰米尔语kanji。

Fried bread stick 和 fried dough stick 没有本质上的区别，只是不同的翻译。我认为用dough（稀面团）比用bread（面包）更确切。直译比较：油炸的棍状面包 / 油炸的稀面团棍。是不是后者更贴切？
