注释：

1. map out表示“计划，规划，安排”，与此类似的还有plan out，表示“周密地计划，详尽地安排”。

If you map out something that you are intending to do, you work out in detail how you will do it.

If you plan out the future, you decide in detail what you are going to do.

2. In advance表示“提前，事先”，比如“预先通知”，notify someone in advance。与此类似的还有ahead of，比如“提前一天准备”，prepare something a day ahead of time。



需要注意的是，如果是in advance of，则表示“在……之前，在……的前面”，比如“在会议之前”，in advance of the meeting。

If you do something in advance, you do it before a particular date or event. If one thing happens or is done in advance of another, it happens or is done before the other thing.
