Geoff: Congratulations Anna!

Anna: Thanks Tina. I finally graduated the real world at last.

Geoff: What are your graduation party plans?

Anna: We are going to have a huge dinner party at a fancy hotel, the class of 2010, and go out afterwards.

Geoff: What do you intend to do with yourself after graduation?

Anna: I’ve decided to take some time out to travel, as a reward for all my hard work. My friends and I are going to rent a house on the beach for two whole weeks.

安娜：我决定拿出一点时间去旅游，作为对我辛勤工作的回报。我的朋友将和我在海边租一个房间，度过整整两个星期。

Geoff: I mean which career have you chosen! What can you do with an English major degree? What have you decided to do with your life?

Anna: Oh! I’m planning on starting a new job this September. I’ve applied to lots of companies, so I’m still choosing the best offer.

安娜：我准备在9月份开始新的工作。我已经申请了很多公司，我仍旧在选择最好的Offer。

Geoff: Which is?

吉欧夫：哪个？

Anna: Travel writing for a magazine. They pay you to visit countries in South East Asia and write colorful stories about what to expect.

安娜：为一本杂志写旅游类文章。他们会出钱让你去东南亚国家，然后写哪些可以玩的那些丰富多彩的文章。

Geoff: That’s cool. What’s the other option?

吉欧夫：很棒。那另一个选择呢？

Anna: Writing for a business weekly magazine, 9 to 5.

安娜：为一个商业周刊写文章，早上9点到5点。

Geoff: Which pays more?

吉欧夫：哪个工资更高些？

Anna: The business weekly of course, but I don’t know if I am ready for a stable job. I intend to enjoy my 20’s.

安娜：当然是商业周刊了，但我不确定我是否为一个稳定的工作做好了准备。我想好好享受我20几岁的青春时光。
