应中共中央政治局委员、外交部长王毅邀请，比利时副首相兼外交大臣普雷沃于4月27日至5月1日访华。

At the invitation of Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Prévot will visit China from April 27 to May 1.

应中共中央政治局委员、外交部长王毅邀请，澳大利亚外长黄英贤将于4月28日至30日访华。

At the invitation of Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Penny Wong will visit China from April 28 to 30.

CCTV: To follow up on your announcement about Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong’s visit to China, can you share the background and China’s expectations on the visit?

林剑：在两国领导人战略引领下，中澳全面战略伙伴关系保持向好发展势头。黄英贤外长访华期间，王毅外长将同她共同主持第八轮中澳外交与战略对话，就中澳关系及双方共同关心的国际、地区问题深入交换意见。

Lin Jian: Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership has maintained a sound momentum of growth. During Foreign Minister Penny Wong’s visit, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will co-chair with her the eighth Foreign and Strategic Dialogue, and the two sides will have an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest.

中方期待通过此访推进落实两国领导人达成的重要共识，增进政治互信，深化互利合作，推动中澳关系稳定、健康、可持续发展，更好造福两国人民。

Through the visit, China looks forward to further delivering on the important common understandings between the leaders of the two countries, enhancing political mutual trust and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, so as to promote the steady, sound and sustainable development of China-Australia relations and deliver more benefits to the two peoples.

路透社记者：中方对昨天的白宫枪击事件有何评论？

Reuters: Does China have any comment to the Trump administration following yesterday’s shooting at the White House?

林剑：中方关注这起枪击事件，我们一贯反对和谴责非法暴力行为。

Lin Jian: The shooting incident has come to China’s attention. We oppose and condemn illegal violence.



彭博社记者：上周五，美国以涉伊朗业务为由，制裁中国一家大型民营炼油厂。外交部对此有何评论？

Bloomberg: Last Friday, the U.S. sanctioned one of China’s largest private oil refiners over its links to Iran. Does the Foreign Ministry have any comment on this?

林剑：中方一贯反对缺乏国际法依据的非法单边制裁，敦促美方停止滥施制裁和“长臂管辖”的错误做法。中方将坚决维护本国企业的合法权益。

Lin Jian: China opposes illicit unilateral sanctions that have no basis in international law. We urge the U.S. to stop willfully slapping sanctions and using long-arm jurisdiction. China will firmly defend the lawful rights and interests of Chinese companies.

《北京日报》记者：中方刚发布了比利时副首相兼外交大臣普雷沃访华消息，如何评价当前中比关系？中方对此访有何期待？

Beijing Daily: To follow up on Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Prévot’s visit to China, how does China view its current relations with Belgium? Can you share China’s expectation for the visit?

林剑：中比是全方位友好合作伙伴。近年来，双方高层交往频繁，在贸易投资、航运物流、生物医药等领域合作稳步推进，成效显著，切实造福两国人民。

Lin Jian: China and Belgium have established an all-round partnership of friendly cooperation. In recent years, the two countries have conducted frequent high-level exchanges and made steady progress in cooperation in trade, investment, shipping, logistics, biomedicine and other fields, delivering tangible benefits to the two peoples.

今年是中比建交55周年，此次访问是普雷沃副首相兼外交大臣就任后首次访华。中方期待通过此访，同比方就双边关系和共同关心的国际地区问题深入交流，扩大共识、深化合作，推动中比关系持续健康稳定发展，为中欧关系发展作出新贡献。

This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Belgium. It’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot’s first visit to China since he took office. Through this visit, China looks forward to having in-depth communication with Belgium on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of mutual interest, broadening consensus, deepening cooperation, advancing the sustained, sound and steady development of China-Belgium relations and making new contributions to China-EU ties.

中新社记者：据报道，巴基斯坦总统扎尔达里正在访华。发言人能否介绍日程安排？

China News Service: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari is reportedly visiting China. Could you share the itinerary of his visit?

林剑：今年是中巴建交75周年，中巴关系保持高水平的良好发展势头。巴基斯坦总统扎尔达里于4月25日至5月1日来华，访问湖南省和海南省。中方愿同巴方一道，推动两国各层级、各地方友好交流合作，共同致力于构建更加紧密的中巴命运共同体。

Lin Jian: This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Bilateral relations maintain a sound momentum of robust development. President Zardari’s trip from April 25 to May 1 includes visits to Hunan Province and Hainan Province. China stands ready to work together with Pakistan to deepen friendly exchanges and cooperation at all levels and between different localities to build an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future.
