所有格表示所有关系，修饰另一名词，作定语。它有两种形式：一种是由名词词尾’s构成，第二种是由“介词OF+名词”构成，前者多用来表示有生命的东西，后者多用来表示无生命的东西。

我觉得理论上是可以的，只是表达方式和习惯不一样而已。好像one of my friends它也没有用你句子上的那种表达，怎样读起来顺就怎样咯。

"用of" 表所有格，更有“整体中一部分”的意思。既：the market is one of the markets in the city Delhi.同时，“of" 作所有格时，其物主一般为非生命的东西，而Delhi 正好符合这个条件。这里它是markets的物主。
