The writer collected snails from his garden in a paper bag. He took it to his friend Robert. Robert was delighted after he saw the great stuff which he had hoped to get some years before. The writer left it in the hall and they talked in the living room for a couple of hours. Robert wanted to say him to dinner, the main dish of which would be snails he had sent. After seeing the hall full of snails escaping from the paper bag, the writer would never have a look at a snail.
