Yea, i don't like the formal translation either. Language should be much more interesting in lively ways, isn't it?

Just like "the rain is like a baby". It might be like an adult before that, but what kind of adult? haha, just joking.

"it's not pissing down anymore" I got the saying from a foreigner. Really interesting.
