T： What are you doing, Carol?

C：I'm making a shopping list, Tom.

T： What do we need?

C：We need a lot of thing this week.

C：I must go to the grocer's.

We haven't got much tea or

coffee, and we haven't got any

sugar or jam.

T： What about vegetables?

C： I must go to the greengrocer's.

We haven't got many tomatoes,

but we've got a lot of potatoes.

C： I must go to the butcher's, too.

We need some meat.

We haven't got any meat at all.

T： Have we got any beer and wine?

And I'm not going to get any!

T：I hope that you've got some

money.

C：I haven't got much.

T：Well, I haven't got much either!

Where's Tom?

CAROL: He's upstairs.

He's having a bath.

CAROL: Tom!

TOM:Yes?

CAROL: Sam's here.

Have a cigarette.

SAM:No, thanks, Tom.

TOM:Have a glass of whisky then.

That day,Sam went to Tom's　family　to looked for Tom,But Tom was having a bath。

A moment, Tom　wentdownstairs .He　invitedsam tosmoke,but Sam declined this invitation.Thenasked Sam to drank a glass ofWhisky,Sam feeled that's a good idea。Tom asked Carol thatis the dinner ready,Carol told he that them couldhave dinner atseven O'clock.Tom told Carol that Sam and he had luch together in the restaurant. Them had roast beef andpotatoes, Carol did disappointed ,Becuse,　That night she cooked roast beef and potatoes too .

CAROL: Hello, Sam. Come in.

TOM:Hi, Sam.

We're having lunch.

TOM:Let's go into the living room, Carol.

We can have our coffee there.

We're packing our suitcases.
