我今天看到这么个句子：

how long do you intend to stay?? 然后没几行又看见这么一句：how many nights will you stay?

然后我就突然反应到intend, will,be going to, plan都是打算怎么怎么，计划怎么怎么的意思。。他们有什么区别呢。我怎么区别什么时候用哪个呢？？乱啊！！！

intend是打算;plan是计划.还有intend不可以做名词的而plan可以.

be going to表示的意图通常是事先经过考虑的,而will所表示的意图则是说话时刻临时想到的. will与be going to有时可互换使用.

intend and plan both are verbs and followed by infinitives.

will vs. be going to

a). will and be going to mean the same when they make predictions about the future.--a statement about something the speaker thinks will be true or will occur in the future.

b). be going to (but not will) is used to express a prior plan --the sspeaker already has a plan

c). will (but not be going to) is used to express willingness. in this case, will expresses a decision the speaker makes at the moment of speaking.
