Japan Atomic Energy Agency says water containing tritium was found to be leaking at an advanced thermal reactor in Fukui Prefecture. It says the workers who identified the leakage were carrying out demolition work and were not exposed to radioactive materials.

The agency announced that the three workers found the leak at a decommissioning facility of the Fugen reactor Tuesday afternoon. The amount of leaked water is around 20 milliliters.
