Louise Clayton and her daughter Tegan Ellis, from Australia, have rescued many animals including 12 cats, three dogs and also seven birds.

They recently decided to allow Mini, one of their cats, and her friends to express themselves with some paint, creating Rescue Cat Art to help pay off vet bills for those animals they had saved.

"We put paint and paper out for them and they walk across, and they play with balls," Ellis said. The kittens’ artwork is very abstract, colorful and unique. They have had good feedback on the artwork so far and are considering doing dog art.
