My interest in cooking dates back to my childhood, when limited horizons and limited cooking materials and appliances were never obstacles to stop me from trying ways of cooking that my parents did. It’s not like many other interests which could be purposely developed but like a rib which simply rooted in me and grew naturally out of me.

Like many of the kids of my age, I got to know how to cook simple food at an early age. What seemed a little different was that my parents never blamed me for wasting stuffs and time trying new recipes read from the books. I guess now that’s when I began to pick up the habit of keeping on trying, getting focused and sticking to once something was decided on.

If you love doing something, you’re sure to know that there will be no end of seeking for its further development. Many of my female friends complain a lot about doing the cooking, while I should say that in my life I have been so delighted in providing my family with the most delicious things that I’m totally willing to spend quite a lot of time busying cooking and till now have never got the least tired of it.

Quite a lot of my money has been spent on buying kitchen wares, and since two years ago my talent of baking was developed, my enthusiasm in bakery has been greatly aroused and fully utilized. Constantly, money is spent on more and more, newer and newer baking tools, which, like what my friends said, are more like my cooking toys than like my cooking utensils.

I finally get praises from all, but hardly any of them can really realize and understand how much effort I have made for it. I don’t remember how many nights I was on the internets studying the experts’ recipes, and how many times I had to throw away the unpleasant result caused by carelessness and lack of experience. But still I should say that all this is worth doing, because for so many years although being kept busy like a ever-working clock, making full use of my precious free time doing something new and meaningful has always made me feel happy, full and filled with expectations for the future days.
