据国务院台湾事务办公室官方微博消息，4月3日，台湾地区发生强烈地震。国务院台办发言人朱凤莲表示，大陆有关方面高度关切，向受灾的台湾同胞表示诚挚慰问，将密切关注灾情和后续情况，愿提供救灾协助。

The mainland is paying close attention to the 7.3-magnitude earthquake in the Taiwan region and the development of the disaster, and is willing to provide disaster relief assistance, a spokesperson said on Wednesday.

The mainland is highly concerned about the situation and extends sincere sympathy to the Taiwan compatriots affected by the disaster, said Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.

台湾花莲地震已致4死97伤

据台湾中时新闻网报道，根据台消防署统计，4月3日花莲7.3级地震目前已造成全台4死97伤。

据报道，一名司机在大清水断崖遇落石被砸身亡；花莲县秀林乡太鲁阁得卡伦步道为当地知名景点，3日上午游客较多，目前已知有3人遇难。

Four people died and another 97 were injured in a 7.3-magnitude earthquake that hit the sea area near Hualien in China's Taiwan on Wednesday morning.

One driver was fatally struck by falling rocks, while the other three lost their lives on a trail inside a major tourist attraction in Hualien county, according to local media, citing fire department data.

据中国地震台网正式测定，今天（3日）7时58分，中国台湾花莲县海域发生7.3级地震，震源深度12千米，并出现多起余震。

台湾气象局表示，这是自1999年发生规模7.3级“921大地震”之后，规模最大的一起地震。

Taiwan's meteorological agency recorded the quake as measuring 7.2 magnitude, calling it the strongest earthquake to hit the island in 25 years since a deadly quake struck on Sept 21, 1999.

海啸警报解除

据央视新闻客户端报道，记者从自然资源部了解到，自然资源部海啸预警中心根据监测发布海啸警报解除通报。

今天7点58分台湾海域发生地震，地震在震源附近引发局地海啸，并对我国台湾岛沿岸局部区域造成灾害性影响。根据监测数据分析，本次海啸灾害过程基本结束。自然资源部海啸预警中心将继续跟踪分析地震和海啸监测数据，并及时发布信息。

Following the earthquake, the Ministry of Natural Resources warning center issued tsunami alerts, which have been lifted as of press time.

The quake triggered a local tsunami near the epicenter, causing a disastrous impact on parts of Taiwan's coastal areas, the warning center said, adding that the tsunami disaster process had basically ended.

花莲震后发生山崩、有民宅倒塌

据台媒报道，花莲市区一栋大楼在地震中倾斜。花莲有多处民宅倒塌，其中一处早餐店完全倒塌。

车辆被落石砸中

此外，位于花莲县秀林乡台九线上的知名景点崇德隧道口，原是可以观赏清水断崖的地点，因发生地震，造成该地区大量落石，岩块掉落在马路上。

该处最大的石块体积相当于半辆汽车的大小，由于余震不断，担心持续会有落石掉落，目前该路段已经封闭通行。

受地震影响，台北捷运宣布停止运行40至60分钟，部分高铁路线宣布停驶。

Subways in multiple counties and cities on the island have been temporarily suspended. Taipei's metro system resumed operation after being suspended for around one hour.

多地铁路线路有调整

地震发生后，中国铁路南昌局集团有限公司启动应急处置一级响应，按照应急抢险预案，封锁福建省内和江西部分铁路线路，第一时间扣停运行的客货列车，采取多种方式，对铁路线路、桥梁、隧道及信号设备等进行安全检查，密切防范次生灾害。南铁管内部分旅客列车出现不同程度晚点。

受地震影响，广铁部分铁路线路调整。铁路部门安排畲龙线、漳龙线、梅汕线、杭深线汕尾以东、甬广高铁汕尾以东（汕汕高铁）临时封锁，沪昆高铁部分列车调整运行区段。途经上述线路的部分旅客列车将出现不同程度晚点。

上海铁路局宁波车务段发布消息，铁路部门迅速启动应急预案，紧急封锁杭深线、杭台线路，全面巡检行车设备，排查安全隐患。受此影响，部分列车将不同程度晚点。

铁路部门提醒广大旅客可通过12306铁路客服平台及车站广播、大屏、公告等方式，及时掌握列车运行情况，合理安排行程。
