A: Hey. I think it's time to work on our abs. We're both getting a little tummy.

嘿!我想现在该练练我们的腹肌了。我们两个都有点小肚子

B: You're right. Let's do some sit-ups!

你说得不错。我们来做仰卧起坐吧。

A: I'll hold your feet. And then you can hold mine.

我先握住你的脚,等一下你再握住我的脚。

B: Great. I'll do a hundred.

好。我要做100下。

A: Remember to keep looking straight up. Don't bend your neck too much. It's bad for your back!

记得眼睛要保持直视上方。脖子不要太向前弯,这样对背部不好!

B: Now let's use the weight machines.

现在我们来用重量训练器材。

A: How about the rowing machine?

用划船器怎么样?

B: Great. They've all got built-in TVs.

好极了。它们上面都装了电视。

A: Cool! We can watch Ally MacBeal!

酷!我们可以看《艾莉的异想世界》!

B: But there's a twenty-minute limit on the machines.

可是机器有20分钟的使用时限。

A: You use the rowing machines and I'll use the treadmill. And then we can switch back and forth!

你用划船器,我用跳步机。然后我们可以来回交换使用。

B: Why didn't I think of that?

我怎么没想到这么做呢?

A: Because you're not addicted to TV like I am.

因为你不像我这么电视。

B: Hey! I'm just as bad as you are. I just hope the trainers don't catch on to our little scheme!

嘿!其实我跟你一样迷。我只希望不要被教练看穿我们的小把戏
