Mr. David White is one of my old friend. He has bought a public house recently, but it is said that he is going to sell it. I know that he has spent a large sum of money on it and the business is ok, I did not know why he made the decision, so I called him last night. He told me that the pub was haunted.

'I could not go to sleep one night because I heard a strange noise coming from the bar.'

'Maybe there were mouses having party there at that time.' I said.

'No! No!' He interrupted me, 'The next morning, I found the doors had been blocked by chairs and the furniture had been moved. I remember that I had turn the lights off before I went to bed but they were on in the morning. Further more, I found five empty whisky bottles on the counter. Do you think that mouses have done all those things?'

'Oh, maybe there were some villagers having come in for a free drink.' I suggested.

'Definitely not! Our customers are all passengers from other places. The villagers have told me that they will not accept the pub even if I gives it away, so it is impossible for them to do it. It is the ghost that must have done that!'

'Oh, dear. It's terrible to be haunted. Maybe it will be difficult to sell because of this. Do you propose to hide the fact?' I asked.

'No, I am 100 percent honest! I have put up a sign outside the pub's gate which said 'Haunted house up for sale''. David answered.

'Is there anybody contact with you till now?' I asked.

'Yes,' he sounded very excited, 'A young man called me yesterday, he said he was very interested in my pub, and he was one of those rare people who did not believe in ghost.'
