看了一部无聊搞笑剧，是很无聊——憨厚的男主人公爱上了美丽的女一号，终于有一天鼓起勇气邀约佳人，却不想头遭约会就与一个流浪汉不期而遇，于是，笑料连连，流浪汉就那么跟着很想单独享受浪漫的情侣……



不过，电影虽无聊，电影的片名“The third wheel”却妙不可言，它可谓一针见血道出了流浪汉与剧情的关系——这部电影主要靠这位充当“电灯泡”的流浪汉大爆笑料。







在英语中，“the third wheel”指那些“碍手碍脚、不合时宜”的人，也 就是我们汉语中的“电灯泡”。至于它的词源，普遍的猜测认为可能源于“自行车”——自行车通常是两个轮子，若再加一个轮，一定是多余的。但也有不少悖论：单就现在来看，三个轮的自行车不是没有。不过，这种争论对普通老百姓而言毫无意义，反正“the third wheel”（电灯泡）被大众广为使用。
