2026年5月31日上午，青岛动物园虎山外展区，两只白虎发生打斗，导致其中一只伤重不治死亡。经初步核查，系因饲养员违规操作，将两只白虎外放至同一外展区造成。事件的发生，说明我们制度落实有漏洞、日常管理不到位，对此深感自责，在此诚恳向关心关爱青岛动物园的社会各界道歉。目前，有关部门已介入调查，将依规依纪追责问责。我中心将举一反三，健全制度，加强管理，严守操作规程，杜绝类似事件发生。



A popular white tiger known as "Xiao Nao" has died following a fight with another tiger after zookeepers mistakenly placed them together in the same enclosure.

In a statement released on Thursday, the Qingdao Park Management Center said a preliminary investigation found that a keeper had violated safety protocols by releasing both tigers into the same outdoor exhibit area. "This incident exposed loopholes in our system and inadequate daily management," the center said, offering a public apology. Authorities have launched an investigation and promised disciplinary action against those responsible.

此前消息，据媒体报道，近日，有游客反映，青岛动物园网红孟加拉白虎“小孬”离世。据悉，“小孬”作为园区网红白虎，此前因美貌火出圈，收获了全国不少网友的关注和喜爱。

园方饲养员曾介绍，“小孬”是性格腼腆的“女孩子”，今年10周岁，是园区的“明星”老虎。据了解，“小孬”共有5只兄弟姊妹，她是家族中的长女，另有“兄长”大白和“妹妹”山山，也受到不少网友关注。因为“小孬”性格较为腼腆，小时候有一点胆小，所以就起了“小孬”这个名字。

The 10-year-old tiger, a popular attraction at Qingdao Zoo, suffered fatal injuries during the confrontation on the morning of May 31.

The zoo confirmed the deceased tiger was Xiao Nao, who had gained a national following online for her striking appearance.
