A large rocket scheduled to blast off with four astronauts for a trip around the moon has reached its launch pad at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in the US state of Florida.

The roughly 98-meter-long rocket traveled about 6 km on a massive crawler transporter from the assembly building on Saturday. The launch is expected to happen as early as February 6.
