当地时间8月4日，中国队在巴黎奥运会男子4×100米混合泳接力赛中历史性夺冠，打破了美国游泳队在该项目上超40年的金牌垄断。

The United States' unbeaten run in the men's 4x100 metres medley ended at the Paris Olympics on Sunday as China swept to a seismic win at La Defense Arena.

巴黎奥组委官方解说员在解说这场比赛时对四名队员都大大点了赞，尤其在解说潘展乐游最后一棒时激动无比，称中国队的表现堪比希腊神话中的逆袭（an upset worthy of the Greek gods）。解说员介绍道：

For the first time in 11 Olympics the US has lost this relay... It was first introduced in 1960. Australia won in 1980, and other than that, the USA has won every edition of this relay.

这是11届奥运会以来美国第一次输了接力项目……该项目首次引入是在1960年，澳大利亚在1980年获胜。除此之外，美国赢得了每一届的接力金牌。

And it took an upset worthy of the Greek gods for China to win the gold. What a swim! What a relay!

By the end, Pan had proven he was definitely the fastest freestyle leg, but his other three teammates set him up to finish and win the gold.

最后潘展乐证明了他确实是最快的自由泳选手，但他的其他三位队友为他创造了赢得金牌的条件。

也有外媒分析了潘展乐在接力中游出的45秒92成绩意义多么重大，自2008年美国运动员杰森·雷扎克游出46秒06的成绩之后，这个记录16年未曾有人能打破。潘展乐又一次创造了历史！

Nobody has ever been sub 46.06s. So eclipsing time that had stood for quite some time, 2008, to take that victory in Beijing over the French team.

在潘展乐之前没有人能超过46秒06，超过这个已经保持了很长时间的成绩，这个成绩是2008年北京奥运会美国队战胜法国队时创下的纪录。

其实，国外并不是从这次奥运会才开始关注潘展乐的，早在今年年初多哈游泳世锦赛上，已经有不少国外专家研究起了潘展乐的游泳技术——言语之间，除了赞叹还是赞叹。

美国博主马意骏表示：

“首先，潘展乐的整个职业运动生涯的兴奋剂检测从未呈现阳性。他完全是清白的。第二点，他在巴黎接受检测的次数是其他国家运动员的9倍之多。为什么呢？只是因为他是中国人。作为一个美国人，我深感恶心。我感到尴尬，我感到丢脸，我不知道还能说什么。除了，潘展乐你赢得漂亮！”

"First of all, Pan Zhanle has never, ever in his entire athletic career, tested positive for anything in the world of doping. The guy’s 100% clean.

"Number two, the guy has been tested nine times more often than athletes from any other country. Why? Because he’s Chinese.

"As an American, I'm disgusted. I'm embarrassed. I'm disgraced. And I don't know what else to say about this, except Pan Zhanle kicked your ass."

目前，巴黎奥运会游泳比赛已收官。中国选手潘展乐和张雨霏带领中国队在巴黎泳池中夺得12枚奥运奖牌，斩获2金3银7铜，奖牌数为历史最佳，获奖人数达历史之最！
