我们都知道house是房子，

broken指损坏的、破损的，

那housebroken这个单词难道就是“拆家”的意思？

其实housebroken指的是：(of a pet) having learned not to urinate or empty its bowels （意为：肠子）in your home！

没错，housebroken = house-trained，

是经过训练后不在室内大小便（的宠物）！
