上述公示提供的故事梗概称，“影片讲述一百多年前流落英国大英博物馆的中国文物在春节前夕苏醒，因思念祖国它们逃离大英博物馆后回国过年的故事。”

The film's narrative, as detailed in the official announcement, centers around Chinese cultural relics that have resided in the British Museum for over a century. These artifacts awaken on the eve of Chinese New Year and set out on a journey to return to their homeland, motivated by a profound longing for China.

澎湃新闻注意到，认证信息为“动画电影《逃离大英博物馆》官方微博”的微博账号@逃离大英博物馆 已于9月13日上线，该微博账号15日也发布了动画电影《逃离大英博物馆》获备案公示的消息。

此前，8月30日起，3集系列短视频《逃出大英博物馆》上线抖音、B站、小红书等互联网平台，讲述了一盏中国玉壶“逃出”大英博物馆寻找回国之路的故事，收获网友大量好评。
