4th of September: I always believe the systems of Toronto are perfect, the people who is honesty even though after I landed. But now I don't think so.
I spent CAD 15900 to buy a second-hand CIVIC from Makham Honda on 28th of August. Because my husband and I had been looking for our favorite car for 10 days, and I liked the CIVIC at the first sight, we checked the Carproof which was clean, and the price we could afford, so we signed the contract and paid CAD 1000 for deposit. But after we went home, according to the Vehicle Identification Number of the CIVIC we found this car had a big accident report through another system, namely Carfax. We were so surprised, we couldn't believe what we had checked. Actually it was true. So the next day we went to Makham Honda with the Carfax again and wanted to cancel the contract. Finally they were agreed and their explaination was they didn't know how it happened. Until now I can't completely believe that such a big corporation make such a mistake. This event makes me lose confidence to Honda and the second-hand vehicle market. Furthermore I realize that developped countries definitely have their advanced fields and systems, but in a certain extent they also have shortcomings. They are not so perfect and are not what we have known.
So we made a big decision, buying a new car. Today we went to Mazda, and my husband had seeked so much information about it. Finally we bought white one which took me CAD 20200. Now I can breathe fresh air for disposing this big problem. Subsequently I don't need to take a bus to go shopping or do anything else. Because there are different communication systems in Toronto, for example: TTC, VIVA, train. Exceeding the certain field, we must buy another type of tickets. TTC ticket for adult is CAD 3, for child CAD 0.5, which are cheaper than VIVA's.
That's all. Hope everyone have a good day!
